What I've been up to...
Hi everyone, I just wanted to give you a quick life update!
As many of you are aware I have gone through some pretty upsetting life changes over the last year and a half. I never imagined I'd be in this place but here we are, or rather, here I am.
I've been working really hard, moving around from town to town, and been updating my website, which means I've been adding some content/blog posts! I'm starting with some older work for now with backdated blog posts (so you may notice an editing style difference), and will work may up to making current blog posts. I'm pretty excited!
Blogging has always seemed to daunting to me, and I always hated it but KNEW I had to. With my new website, it's so much easier so my new motto going forward will be "a collection isn't finished until it's delivered AND blogged!"
I also wanted to let you know about my about where I am...
I know it's been a bit confusing lately, and honestly it's been confusing for me too. I'm no longer residing in Halifax/Dartmouth. It's super sad, and I'm really heartbroken to not be living in my city anymore... but that doesn't mean I'm no longer based there. For now, I'm still saying I'm "based in Halifax", but now I'm living part time in Bridgewater on the South Shore and part time in Wolfville.
This means that I'm not only servicing HRM, but also Annapolis Valley, and the South Shore! As much as I am upset to not be in the big city, it's pretty sweet that I'm able to cover such a large area!
I'm hoping that you, my loving and caring clients, may be able to work with me on where the best location for your shoot will be, to cut down on travel as much as possible (times are tight for everyone) but sometimes I will still need to charge travel fees for some locations/days.
