Josh, an old friend, and local musician contacted me about photographing his new band, Kuato. He wanted some cool band shots to get their website up and going!
As I arrived at the jam space, Josh asked if I had ear plugs. Usually I’m not too worried about that sort of thing, but as the rest of the band insisted, I decided maybe it was a good idea. And man, was I glad I took their advice! My ears were ringing for hours afterwards… even with the earplugs! As loud as they may be, I thoroughly enjoyed their music… I would even go so far as to say they are currently my favourite local band!
The room was a dark and the walls were a bright reflective orange, but all in all it was a good shoot, and a great evening of listening to some awesome tunes!
