An awesome local band called No Flyers Please asked me on the fly one day to do a couple quick snaps of them before Dale (the guitar player) left to go on tour. The photos are for an upcoming CD release and press kit.
We went to my favourite place to shoot, The Rock Garden, where their bass player, Isaac, works. I did a few shots of them in a blueish green room, then in front of a black wall. The photos were good but nothing was sticking out as ‘spectacular’. I was running out of ideas, and maybe they noticed because one of them spoke up and said “We had this idea….” The plan was to wear t-shirts with the letters ‘N’ ‘F’ ‘P’ on them. It may sound simple, but it really worked! The t-shirt photos turned out awesome!
