Whether it’s for family portraits, maternity sessions, or annual photos, building long-term relationships with my clients is way more than just a paycheque and brings me SO MUCH HAPPINESS in a way I can't describe... but here, let me try to explain...

One of the most rewarding aspects of being a wedding and family photographer is witnessing my clients' families grow and evolve over time. From the engagement session to the wedding, then maternity photos and newborn sessions -- to the first birthdays and beyond, being part of these milestones allows me to capture memories that are meaningful not just to you, but to me as well.
Every time you return, I get to see the changes in your life — whether it's a new family member or a new chapter in your journey. It’s like seeing a story unfold in front of my camera, and I’m honoured to be part of that story.

We’ve established a rapport, so there’s no need for ice-breaking or awkward small talk. We can dive straight into the creative process, making the session flow effortlessly.

When I capture moments of you becoming parents, watching your children grow, or seeing your family interact with so much love and joy, it’s a reminder that, while I may not walk the same path, I am privileged to witness the kind of magic that having a family brings. I've been photographing Luke and Amanda since their engagement session, and wedding in 2014. They have since had me back to photograph them year after year (sometimes twice a year for maternity and newborn photos) and I am honestly just part of the family now. It feels so comfortable showing up to their sessions, for myself and for them! I know the kids like they are my own nieces and nephews. I know what grades they are in, I know their likes and interests. I know when one of them isn't feeling their best and how to handle that.
It is truly incredible and such an honour to have these types of clients.
